The 2025 college baseball season enters Week 8 and the fourth week in SEC play.
Tennessee (27-2, 8-1 SEC) remains ranked No. 1 nationally for a sixth consecutive week in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.
The Vols will host preseason No. 1 Texas A&M (14-14, 1-8 SEC), Friday-Sunday, at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
“What you’ll have is two teams that, to me, are still both trying to find themselves a little bit," Tennessee head coach Tony Vitello said ahead of the three-game series. "We’ve been fortunate enough to have success, but we’re still trying to find ourselves."
The series opener between the Vols and Aggies on Friday is slated for 7 p.m. EDT (ESPNU), while Saturday’s game No. 2 will take place at 6 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+). First pitch for Sunday’s series finale is scheduled for 3 p.m. EDT and will be televised by ESPN2.
