The Dallas Cowboys are well underway in their mission to find the best prospects their draft capital can by when the three-day event rolls around in late April. This year's NFL draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which will stand as a true test of just how popular the NFL is. When the draft is held in New York, Dallas or Las Vegas, it's a destination city with much to offer. The same can't exactly be said for Wisconsin.
Figuring out if Dallas would be a fruitful destination for members of the 2025 draft class is another conversation altogether. To do so, the team tries and meet with as many potential draft picks as possible. They are allowed a certain number of official, 15-minute interview sessions as the combine, and then they are allowed to host up to 30 players at team headquarters. In addition, they can bring local prospects, based on playing high school or collegiate ball in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area together for one big interview known as Dallas Day. Dallas Day is Thursday, April 4.
Sprinkled in between, the team can travel to collegiate Pro Days, or meet with them at January's all-star events.
Since February's scouting combine, the Cowboys' front office has been hard at work, trying to align the vision of new head coach Brian Schottenheimer and his defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus with this crop of prospects. While fans can choose whether or not they want to visit Green Bay for the event, the collegiate prospects have no such choice, therefore the onus falls on the team to determine whether the bright spotlight placed on Cowboys players will suit or bake each one.
Here's a running list of prospects who have been identified to have met with Cowboys officials at some point in this draft process. Check back regularly for updates.
