Trump jokes about 'backdating' NCAA March Madness bracket

President Trump joked with Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy about “backdating” an NCAA March Madness bracket after the college tournament has seen several upsets.
Trump spoke with reporters on Friday before leaving the White House to go to New Jersey to his golf club.
“President Trump, did you fill out a NCAA March Madness bracket?” Doocy asked.
“I didn’t, I should have,” Trump replied. “Have there been upsets? A couple, right?”
Doocy noted that it’s “too late now” for the president to have participated in the popular bracket prediction.
“A little bit late,” Trump said. “I should give you one, but maybe backdate it, right?”
The tournament already busted the hopes of many viewers who wanted their bracket to properly predict the winner.
No. 9 Creighton University beat No. 8 University of Louisville and No. 12 McNeese State University beat out No. 5 Clemson University.
