Former assistant manager Zsolt Löw will coach RB Leipzig for the rest of the season following Marco Rose's sacking, the Bundesliga club said in a statement.
The 45-year-old, who was part of the staff for Red Bull head of global soccer Jürgen Klopp, was previously assistant coach at Leipzig from 2015-2018 and has also worked for Thomas Tuchel in club football.
Leipzig visit VfB Stuttgart in the German Cup semi-final on Wednesday and have seven games left in the Bundesliga as they aim to rise up into the top four and clinch a Champions League spot.
Löw said in a statement: "Our full focus is on the nine games we hope to have left this season. We are in two competitions and have the chance to reach our goals. We will give our all to reach the Cup final and make the most of our Bundesliga season."
