Women's March Madness games today: Game times, TV schedule, streaming picks for Friday

A day after March Madness started on the men's side, the first round of games for the 2025 women's NCAA Tournament has arrived.

Along with the continuation of the first round on the men's side, 32 games will be broadcast in total for college basketball. On the women's side, No. 11 Iowa State and No. 6 Michigan tip off the coverage at 11:30 a.m. on ESPN. The Cyclones will be playing their second game of the NCAA Tournament after beating Princeton 68-63 in the First Four on Wednesday.

While the men's side has neutral sites for tournament games, fans will watch the seeds one through four play at their home venue for the first round. With action starting at 11:30 a.m. and the night's final game starting at 10 p.m., there will be over 12 hours of non-stop women's basketball action for fans.

That list includes two No. 1 seeds in UCLA and South Carolina, which will be in action on Friday. The No. 1 overall-seeded Bruins take on Southern at 10 p.m. The Jaguars defeated UC San Diego 68-56 on Wednesday in another First Four matchup. Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks take on Tennessee Tech at 4 p.m.

The first round of women's March Madness games on Friday will be carried across the ESPN of family of networks. Six games will be broadcast on ESPN, four games on ESPN2, and three games a piece on ESPNU and ESPNEWS.

All 16 games on Friday can be streamed on Fubo, which carries all of ESPN's channels and offers new subscribers a free trial. The games can also be streamed on ESPN+.
