After winning the Big Ten tournament last week, the 5-seed Michigan Wolverines will take on 12-seed UC San Diego in the first round of March Madness in Denver on Thursday.
The Wolverines stumbled to the finish line in the regular season, losing their final three games, but got red hot in the conference tournament and used their close-game magic to beat Maryland and Wisconsin.
However, despite racking up three straight impressive wins, the Wolverines drew a tough matchup against UC San Diego, a dangerous 12-seed.
