The WNBA Draft is Monday in New York, taking place at The Shed, which is described as a cultural center in Hudson Yards in Manhattan.
The draft is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, with the Dallas Wings picking first overall.
As Yahoo Sports Maggie Hendricks pointed out, there are only 12 first-round picks despite the league having 13 teams this season because the Las Vegas Aces lost their first-round selection because of rules violations in 2023. New York, Indiana, Phoenix and Atlanta all traded their 2025 first-round picks, so, yes, there is some opening-round imbalance.
