Will the NBA really expand into Europe? For much of the recent history of the league, when it came to the topic of expanding the NBA universe, most of the attention was focused on whether that meant to Las vegas, Nevada, Mexico City, Mexico -- or perhaps a return to the old home of the Seattle SuperSonics in Washington State.
With the league having helped put together the Basketball Africa League (BAL) so recently, it came as quite the surprise to hear news break that the Association might have designs on expanding onto the content of Europe -- especially given the fact that the Euroleague is one of several popular leagues already established in the region.
The hosts of the CLNS Media "The Big Three NBA" podcast, A. Sherrod Blakely, Gary Washburn, and Kwani Lunis, linked up with Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe to talk it over. Check it out below!
