Will Livvy Dunne compete in opening round of NCAA Tournament for LSU gymnastics?

LSU gymnastics star Livvy Dunne will not compete in the Tigers' opening round of the NCAA University Park Regional on Thursday.

The fifth-year senior suffered an avulsion fracture in her kneecap before the regular-season finale against Auburn and was held out as a precaution, wearing a knee brace. She rehabbed before the SEC Championship against Oklahoma, Florida and Missouri, but was again held out as a precaution. Ahead of the matchup against Arkansas, Michigan and Maryland, she was again left off the lineup card.

LSU is set to begin the 2025 NCAA gymnastics tournament at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
