Watch: LeBron James and son Bryce embrace after Sierra Canyon wins state championship

On the same day the Los Angeles Lakers lost on Friday to the Denver Nuggets by a final score of 131-126 despite fighting tooth and nail, LeBron James headed north to Sacramento to watch his son Bryce play in the state championship game. The younger James' Sierra Canyon Trailblazers took on Stockton Lincoln for the CIF state Division I title at Golden 1 Center.

While the younger James shot a frosty 1-of-9 from the field, his Trailblazers defeated Stockton Lincoln by a final score of 58-53. His father, as well as his mother Savannah, were clearly hyped about what transpired at the arena that is normally home to the Sacramento Kings.

Afterward, the James clan shared a loving moment together.

The high school senior has committed to play at the University of Arizona this fall. At 6-foot-6, he is considered a tantalizing prospect who has some of his father's famous athleticism.

His father is currently sidelined with a groin strain, but he made the trip up north for this game with the blessing of the Lakers.
