If Pittsburgh Steelers fans weren’t fired up about landing DK Metcalf already, this hype video might just send them over the edge. A new clip circulating on social media captures what Steelers Nation should expect from Metcalf -- an intense and physical athlete who's mastered the craft of preparation.
Metcalf, 27, known for his explosive speed and physicality, should bring dynamism to Pittsburgh's offense. During his time with the Seattle Seahawks (2019–2024), Metcalf tallied 372 receptions for 5,332 yards and 43 touchdowns. He earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2020 and consistently served as a top target for quarterback Russell Wilson. The Steelers aim to revamp their passing game, and Metcalf’s arrival signals a bold shift in strategy.
The Steelers sent a second-round pick to the Seahawks in exchange for Metcalf on March 9. His contract is five years, $150 million. This is the largest free-agent contract the Steelers have ever given to a free agent who wasn't already on the team.
