The Big Golfer is doing Big Golfer things at the 2025 Masters.
Bryson DeChambeau, who has a backpack full of driver heads with him this week at Augusta National, is making an early move Friday. After opening in 3-under 69 on Thursday, he birdied the par-5 second to begin his second round and arrived to the lengthy par-3 fourth. DeChambeau, the 2024 U.S. Open champion, tugged his tee shot into the left bunker.
That's when the fireworks started. He hit his sand shot, it landed softly on the green and never left the flag. Birdie, and the crowds went berserk.

The fun didn't stop there. He blasted a tee shot on No. 5 and stuck his approach to 8 feet, making the third birdie on the hole all week to move to 6 under overall, two behind Justin Rose.
DeChambeau was leading going into the weekend last year at Augusta National, and the two-time major champion has shared how it has been a dream to win the Masters his entire life.
After early-career struggles in the first major of the year, he seems to be figuring it out. And if his start Friday is any indication, Sunday could be one for the ages for DeChambeau.
