Roki Sasaki had a rough start against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday. It took him 61 pitches in 1.2 innings to give up two earned runs, three hits and four walks.
Not great. But Los Angeles Dodgers fans and others noticed Sasaki looking emotional after that start. A shot of him in the dugout sure looked like Sasaki was either holding back tears or going through the gamut of emotions.
Was he actually crying? It shouldn't matter. The 23-year-old rookie is on a new team in a new country. He hasn't had his most electrifying stuff to start the season, and maybe it's catching up to him. Perfectly OK! Hope he's doing OK, and I'm sure his Dodgers teammates picked him up.
And if he wasn't crying? Well, maybe that's just what he looks like after he's pulled from a game. See below.
Was Roki Sasaki crying in the dugout?
Not sure if Roki Sasaki was crying here. Definitely looks like he’s emotional. He’ll figure it out ♥️

Anyone booing Roki Sasaki is not a real Dodger Fan. Him crying in the dugout shows how much heart he has. Can’t wait to watch him grow as a player.
