Vikings agree to terms with receiver Rondale Moore
After starting his career on Wall Street, perhaps it’s fitting that general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has made a habit of buying the dip this offseason. That trend continued on Wednesday night as the Vikings agreed to terms with receiver Rondale Moore.
Originally selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals, Moore hasn’t panned out to this point in his career largely because he’s struggled to stay on the field.
In fact, the Cardinals traded Moore because of injury concerns, and while he was expected to be used as a gadget player for the Atlanta Falcons, he didn’t play a game last season after suffering a knee injury during training camp.
Now the Vikings are hoping they can help Moore repair his value.
Not only does he have upside as a receiver with 135 catches for 1,201 yards in his career, he’s also shown some ability as both a kick returner and a punt returner. There could still be some untapped potential in his undersized 5-foot-7, 180-pound frame.
After visiting TCO Performance Center last week, Moore reportedly visited the Chicago Bears this week before ultimately working something out with the Vikings.
