VaDeer's blast propels LP to opening win

Mar. 29—Lyle-Pacelli senior Hunter VaDeer opened the season in a big way as the Athletics beat Mabel-Canton 8-4 in Mabel Friday.

VaDeer belted a grand slam and Dawson Jenkins added a two-run single in the win for the Athletics.
