Updated lottery standings for Sixers after Nets win, Pelicans injuries

The Philadelphia 76ers have seven games remaining in the 2024-25 season as they look to position themselves the best they can to keep their top 6 protected draft pick. The more losses the Sixers have, the better odds they will have to keep that pick when the lottery rolls around on May 12.

The Sixers were idle on Monday, but they did receive some help. The Brooklyn Netsknocked off the Dallas Mavericks 113-109 which created more separation from the Nets. On the other hand, the New Orleans Pelicans ruled CJ McCollum and Zion Williamson out for the season. Whatever chances the Sixers had at catching the Pelicans in the lottery standings are probably squashed now.
