TSSAA Mr. and Miss Basketball winners for 2025

MURFREESBORO ― The TSSAA Mr. and Miss Basketball award winners were announced Tuesday at MTSU's Tucker Theater.

Coaches and members of the media nominated players and a committee of sports writers from across the state voted on the finalists and winners.

Here are this year's winners.

Class 4A

Miss Basketball: Kimora Fields, Bradley Central

Finalists: Natalya Hodge, Bearden; Ella Ryan, Brentwood

Mr. Basketball: Taquez Butler, Whitehaven

Finalists: Christian Brown, Franklin; Cortez Graham-Howard, Hillsboro

Class 3A

Miss Basketball: Jaidynn Askins, Jackson South Side

Finalists: Joya Crawford, Dyersburg; Carsyn Swaney, Heritage

Mr. Basketball: Ty Cobb, Upperman

Finalists: Cade Capps, Stone Memorial; Trey Thompson, Greeneville

Class 2A

Miss Basketball: Karina Bystry, McMinn Central

Finalists: Maddie Gray, Westview; Ally Weathers, Loretto

Mr. Basketball: Ty Glasper, Gatlinburg-Pittman

Finalists: Grayson Burleson, Loretto; Rodney Henderson, Tyner Academy

Class 1A

Miss Basketball: Blair Baugus, Wayne County

Finalists: Laila Downs-Darden, McEwen; Elle Graham, Moore County

Mr. Basketball: Auden Slaughter, Santa Fe

Finalists: Jacob Amonett, Pickett County; Derrick Roberson, Chattanooga Preparatory School

Division II-AA

Miss Basketball: Meeyah Green, Webb School of Knoxville

Finalists: Tyler Jones, Hutchison School; Kamora Moore, Chattanooga Christian School

Mr. Basketball: Fred Smith, Jr., Briarcrest Christian

Finalists: Cameron Blivens, Lipscomb Academy; Jonathan Sanderson, Ensworth

Division II-A

Miss Basketball: Haylen Ayers, University School of Jackson

Finalists: Dasha Biriuk, The Webb School; Maddie Braden, Christian Academy of Knoxville

Mr. Basketball: Jayden Jones, Goodpasture

Finalists: Preston Wade, Providence Christian Academy; Kaleb Williams, Trinity Christian Academy
