TSSAA boys basketball state tournament 2025: Live updates from Wednesday's quarterfinals

Tennessee high school boys basketball takes center stage this week as the TSSAA boys basketball state tournament tips off at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at MTSU's Murphy Center.

A week after the start of the TSSAA girls basketball state tournament, the boys begin their journey to state titles. Play begins at 9:30 a.m. (CT) on Wednesday with Class 1A quarterfinals. The Class 2A matchups will start at 4 p.m. Class 3A and 4A quarterfinal games begin on Thursday.

Attention turns to the eight state semifinal games on Friday, and champions will be crowned on Saturday with play beginning at 11 a.m. Follow all eight of Wednesday's TSSAA boys basketball state tournament here.

Class 1A

Wednesday, March 19: Humboldt vs. North Greene, 9:30 a.m.; Chattanooga Prep vs. Santa Fe, 11 a.m.; Hillcrest vs. Pickett Co., 12:45 p.m.; Harriman vs. Wayne Co., 2:15 p.m.

Friday, March 21: Semifinals, Humboldt-North Greene winner vs. Chattanooga Prep-Santa Fe winner, 9:30 a.m.; Hillcrest-Pickett Co. winner vs. Harriman-Wayne Co. winner, 11 a.m.

Saturday, March 22: Championship, 11 a.m.

Class 2A

Wednesday, March 19: Loretto vs. Liberty Creek, 4 p.m.; Chattanooga Tyner vs. Memphis Business, 5:30 p.m.; Hickman Co. vs. Alcoa, 7:15 p.m.; Jackson Co. vs. Jackson Central-Merry, 8:45 p.m.
