Missouri State women's basketball vs Belmont score: How to watch, live updates, game highlights

Missouri State women's basketball will get another shot at Belmont on Saturday in the semifinal round of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.

The Lady Bears held on for a 77-70 win over Illinois Chicago in Friday's quarterfinals, and Belmont followed with a 64-46 win over Northern Iowa, setting up the 4 p.m. showdown at Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.

The two recently played on March 1 in Nashville, with the Bruins winning 67-61. They pulled away in the second half, leading by as many as 18 early in the fourth, before the Lady Bears scored 13 of the final 15 points in the final three minutes to create the six-point difference.

Missouri State won the first matchup between the two, 57-55, in Springfield on Jan. 2.

The winner will advance to Sunday's 1 p.m. championship game, where they will play the winner of Saturday's 1:30 p.m. matchup between Murray State and Drake.
