TSSAA boys basketball state tournament 2025: Live updates from Thursday's quarterfinals
MURFREESBORO ― It's Thursday, which means we've moved into the second day of the TSSAA boys basketball state tournament.
Class 3A and 4A will hold state quarterfinal games at MTSU's Murphy Center. Class 3A games will begin at 9:30 a.m. CT, and 4A schools will start at 4 p.m.
Class 1A and 2A held its quarterfinal games Wednesday as play tipped off early in the morning. Class 1A Mr. Basketball winner Auden Slaughter, the state's third-ranked scorer all-time, finished his high school career with more than 3,500 points but couldn't get past defending state champs Chattanooga Prep.
Loretto kept its perfect record clean at 33-0, knocking off Liberty Creek in the 2A quarterfinals.
