Top Nebraska quarterback target enjoys time in Lincoln

Nebraska football quarterback target Trae Taylor made the most out of his visit to Lincoln over the past couple of days, as noted by Rivals.com’s Tim Verghese (subscription required). Taylor has been a top target for the program at the quarterback position. According to Rivals.com, he is the fourth overall quarterback in the cycle. Taylor is set to make a decision in the summer, with other visits still looming.

Even still, the quarterback took in his time in Lincoln. He got the chance to speak with current Huskers starting quarterback Dylan Raiola, which, as Verghese noted, allowed him to learn more about the program.

"The conversations I had, especially with Dylan..opened my eyes to a few things”

The Huskers currently have several younger quarterbacks in the program, including TJ Lateef and Marcos Davila. Nebraska has done a nice job of building depth within the quarterback room, which will allow the younger ones to develop. Landing Taylor would be another big win on the recruiting trail.
