The Los Angeles Lakers slammed the Oklahoma City Thunder to the ground in a 126-99 beatdown on Sunday. The Thunder have the NBA's best record and the league's top-ranked defense, but none of them mattered on Sunday.
The two teams will face off again on Tuesday at Paycom Center. Another victory by L.A. could serve notice that it is serious about making a very deep run in this season's playoffs.
However, the Lakers will be at least a little short-handed for Tuesday's contest. Starting forward Rui Hachimura will not play, and LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, Dorian Finney-Smith and Gabe Vincent are all listed as questionable.

After Tuesday's game, the Lakers will get right back to work on Wednesday by visiting the Dallas Mavericks, which means Doncic will be heading back to his old stomping grounds. That also means head coach JJ Redick will have to manage his team's workload, especially with the playoffs nearing.
