UT was 31-3 overall and tied with South Carolina for the regular-season SEC championship. The Horns reached the SEC tournament championship game, but fell to the Gamecocks. Texas reached No. 1 in the polls this season, the first time since 2004 in the AP poll and the first time ever in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.
The Longhorns are led by sophomore Madison Booker (16.2 PPG, 6.6 RPG). Booker was SEC player of the year. Rori Harmon, who missed most of the 2023-24 season with a knee injury, was Texas' top playmaker (5.9 APG).
