Tennessee Titans' JC Latham 'ready to roll' at right tackle in 2025

When the Tennessee Titans signed offensive tackle Dan Moore and guard Kevin Zeitler at the start of the NFL's free agency period, it was a signal that massive changes were on the way for 2025 along the offensive line.

Not only are there going to be new faces, but some starters would be in different places, specifically 2024 first-round pick JC Latham, who will be moving back to right tackle. The move is something that the coaching staff and Latham had already discussed before signing Moore.

Speaking with the media at the NFL Owners Meetings, head coach Brian Callahan spoke about the process and how Latham has reacted to the news.

“We talked to him about it, really, right before we signed Dan that there would be potential for this to happen,” Callahan said. “It was not about JC not being good enough at left tackle; it was how do we get the two best tackles we can find.

Latham was a star right tackle during his career at Alabama, which led to the Titans selecting him seventh overall during the 2024 NFL draft. With this move, he can get back to where he is most comfortable and vastly improve what was a giant hole in the Titans' offense in 2024.

How does Latham feel about the move? According to Callahan, he is “ready to roll” in 2025.
