Suns-Rockets live updates: Phoenix tries to keep pace in play-in hunt

The Phoenix Suns (35-39) host the Houston Rockets (48-26) Sunday, March 30, at 6 p.m., at PHX Arena. The game will air on Arizona's Family (3TV in Phoenix).

The Suns are in 11th place in the West, one game behind the Sacramento Kings for the 10th and final play-in spot and 1½ games behind the Dallas Mavericks for the ninth spot. Phoenix, with just eight games remaining, will gain ground on both with a win as the Mavs and Kings are idle Sunday.

The Suns have lost two straight, both routs, the latest Friday at the Minnesota Timberwolves, 124-109. Houston is coming off a 121-110 win at Utah Thursday, the second straight win for the Rockets.
