Spain have risen to second in the latest latest FIFA Men’s World Ranking.
Argentina remain in top spot after the latest update, following March’s international fixtures. The world champions beat Uruguay and Brazil over the break to secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup. La Albiceleste will defend their crown in the United States, Canada and Mexico next summer.
Spain surge into second after reaching the Nations League semi-finals. La Roja are unbeaten in over a calendar year, a run that includes success at Euro 2024 last summer. France drop to third as a result, with England remaining fourth.
