PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers played host to the Chicago Bulls on Sunday afternoon looking to end the season on a high note. In what has been a miserable season, the Sixers saw the finish line and just needed to play four quarters of basketball in order to get there.
The Sixers held a lead for most of the afternoon, but the Bulls took control in the third quarter which grew into the double digits and they eventually walked away with a 122-102 win. The Sixers will finish up at 24-58 on the season while the Bulls will head into the play-in tournament to square off with the Miami Heat back at home.
The Sixers were led by Lonnie Walker IV who poured in 31 points and six rebounds while Adem Bona had 16 points and nine rebounds, and Jared Butler had 19 points and five assists. Marcus Bagley added 10 points and 15 rebounds.

The Sixers will now head into the offseason looking to put this dreadful season behind them. This was a year filled with championship expectations, but they just weren't able to get it together due to injuries and inconsistencies within the lineup. The hope now is that they can get healthy over the summer and get to their expected championship contender status in the 2025-26 season.
