Sandusky girls basketball state slips in Division 3 state quarterfinal
WEST BLOOMFIELD — Same opponent. Same round. Same result.
Déjà vu struck the Sandusky girls basketball team Tuesday, as it fell to Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest, 35-19, in a Division 3 state quarterfinal at West Bloomfield High School.
Grace Guibord scored nine points for the Wolves, who finished the season at 24-3.
The game was a rematch of last year's state quarterfinal, which Lutheran Northwest won as well, 38-16.
Monday was also Sandusky's third straight appearance in the quarterfinal round. Despite the loss, the Wolves are 72-9 over the past three seasons.
