Texas parted ways with head coach Rodney Terry Sunday afternoon.
In eight seasons at Xavier, Miller ranks third all-time in career wins (185) and is coming off taking the Musketeers to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time.
Miller was Xavier's coach for five seasons from 2004-2009, leading the Musketeers to the Sweet 16 twice, including an Elite Eight run in 2008. After 12 seasons at Arizona, Miller returned to Xavier in 2022 and led the Musketeers to the Sweet 16 in his first season back.
Xavier went 22-12 this season and lost to Illinois in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
