Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey: 'Steelers’ bumblebee jersey is the NFL’s best throwback'

The Pittsburgh Steelers have received glowing reviews for their polarizing 'bumble bee' jerseys from their Baltimore-based rival—Ravens star CB Marlon Humphrey.

Recently on social media, Humphrey produced an incredibly hot take: the Pittsburgh Steelers' 1934 throwback unis are the best throwback jersey in the NFL.

The jersey features black and gold horizontal stripes, black numbers contrasting heavily against a white, centered box, and finishes off with the infamous tan pants.

If the uniform combination sounds interesting, that's because it is—and the fan reception was equally less-than-ideal.

The Pittsburgh Steelers only wore these pieces of history from 2012 to 2016, but perhaps Humphrey's support, combined with the new NFL rule that allows teams to wear alternate/throwback uniforms up to four times a season, is enough to revive the bumble bee jerseys.

Which Pittsburgh Steelers do you think of first when these jerseys come to mind, and should these uniforms see the light of day again?
