Rams take two Texas Longhorns in new 5-round mock draft

The Los Angeles Rams have four picks in the first five rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft, but there is a huge gap between the team's first pick at No. 26 and the team's second pick at No. 90.

These leaves a lot of room for ambiguity and options for L.A. Staying put at No. 26 gives them a shot an impact player, but trading up or down the draft allows the Rams to dictate which players they'll be able to select throughout the three days.

NFL.com's Chad Reuter put together a five-round mock draft with less than a month before the first round begins. The Rams took the positions you'd expect them to take given their needs, but also traded back in the first round to pick up some undisclosed draft capital. In this scenario, the Rams still only have four picks in the first five rounds.

Here are all the Rams' picks in Reuter's mock draft:

Round 1, Pick No. 32: Trade back to take Texas WR Isaiah Bond

The Rams traded back with the Philadelphia Eagles for the No. 32 pick and took the speedy Bond. He would be another weapon on the offense and someone who could push for and/or eventually takeover the Tutu Atwell role. Bond ran a 4.39 40-time at the NFL combine and gives the same vibes as Miami Dolphins' receiver Jaylen Waddle, per NFL.com's Lance Zierlein.

Round 3, Pick No. 90: Oklahoma LB Danny Stutsman

Inside linebacker is a huge need for the Rams, and Stutsman would bring a hard-hitting, experience and productive player to the thin group. Stutsman recorded 376 combined tackles in 47 collegiate games, including more than 100 in the past three seasons.

Round 3, Pick No. 101: Ohio State CB Denzel Burke

It would be criminal for the Rams not to come out of this draft with a cornerback. While the roster has four players on the depth chart, none of the them could be around next season and all were contributors to one of the worst secondaries in the NFL this past season. Burke is tall at 6-foot-1 and played well on a national title-winning defense.

Round 4, Pick 127: Texas TE Gunnar Helm

Two Longhorns in one draft? Why not. The Rams need a backup tight end who could eventually takeover for Tyler Higbee, and Helm is a pure pass-catcher at the position. Why he isn't fast, Helm finished with 60 receptions for 786 yards and seven touchdowns this past season. He gives Cade Otton and Jake Ferguson vibes, per PFF and Zierlein, respectively.
