WEST LAFAYETTE — About three hours before Purdue football's spring showcase, the Boilermakers already capped the spring with monumental good news.
Jalil Hall announced Saturday morning he's committed to Purdue.
The former West Virginia signee is a four-star receiver from Drexel Hill, Pa. whose Hudl highlight tape claims he caught 56 passes for 991 yards and 14 total TDs last fall at Bonner & Prendergast, which competes in the Philadelphia Catholic League.
Hall had 15 offers, according to his 247Sports profile, including Big Ten programs Wisconsin, Nebraska, Maryland and Rutgers. The recruiting site lists Hall as the No. 35 receiver nationally in the 2025 signing class.
In the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) 4A state championship last December, Hall was the leading tackler for Bonner & Prendergast in a 40-14 victory over Lampeter-Strasburg.

Hall signed with West Virginia in December prior to the Mountaineers hiring Rich Rodriguez as head coach and bringing in a new staff.
Bilal Marshall, a former Purdue quarterback and receiver, was previously coaching receivers at West Virginia before coming to his alma mater as an offensive analyst for the Boilermakers.
In Hall, listed at 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds by 247Sports, Purdue now adds to a receiving unit for the upcoming season that includes transfers EJ Horton, Nathan Leacock, Charles Ross, Chauncey Magwood and Isaiah Myers.
