PCM soccer scores home win over Sigourney/Keota

Apr. 3—MONROE — The PCM soccer team broke a halftime tie with a pair of second-half goals during a 3-1 non-conference home win over Sigourney/Keota on Tuesday.

The Mustangs got goals from Dominic Witt, Dylan Beyer and Ryker Clark in the victory. It was the first career goal for Clark.

PCM (1-1) improved to 5-0 against the Savages (0-2) since 2022. The Mustangs have outscored S/K 20-3 during that span.

Wells Clark scored the Savages' goal and made eight saves in goal.

Des Moines Christian 7, PCM 0

URBANDALE — Grant Dunn scored six goals and Des Moines Christian opened its season with a 7-0 win over PCM on Monday.

The Mustangs trailed 3-0 at halftime in their season opener.

Dunn added one assist to his night, while William Mathson dished out two assists. The Lions (1-0) had 17 shots and 15 shots on goal.

It was the Lions' seventh straight win over PCM, but the first shutout victory over the Mustangs since 2012.
