Bo Nix and Patrick Surtain could be considered franchise pillars for the Denver Broncos. The two have helped stabilize an offense and improve a defense that took the Broncos over the hump in 2024, getting them to ten wins and a playoff berth.
Although Surtain is the more established of the two, having won the Defensive Player of the Year award this past season, it appears that Surtain appreciates Nix and wants him to continue to become the cornerstone this franchise needs.
Speaking with Rich Eisen during a recent appearance on "The Rich Eisen Show,” Surtain spoke about Nix and his bright future as the quarterback. He also spoke on how playing against Nix in college exposed him to the competitive nature that the quarterback exhibits.
Nix threw for 3,775 yards and 29 touchdowns as a rookie last fall. Surtain believes he will build on his rookie campaign and take his career to new heights in 2025. To check out the whole interview with Eisen and Surtain, click below.
