Paredes reacts to Roma’s loss to Athletic: “It hurts but we must move forward.”

Leandro Paredes spoke to Sky Sport at the end of the match in Bilbao where Roma suffered a 3-1 loss to Athletic.

“We are disappointed and sad, we wanted to play a different game,” he said.

“It’s a shame about the red card, and for the goal at the end of the first half. We need to start again and think about Sunday, a difficult game awaits us.”

“The goal at the end of the first half hurt us. Up until that point we were doing well, we had defended very well running together. It hurts, but you have to raise your head and move forward.”

“Top 4? We always believe in it, but we have to go step by step, we have to think about Cagliari first on Sunday because it will be a very difficult match.”
