Olise is your FC Bayern Player of the Month for February 2025

When Vincent Kompany was recently asked about Michael Olise in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Champions League game at Leverkusen, he had nothing but praise for the attacking midfielder, saying he has a good range of skills, is very dangerous on the flanks but also has the quality to play in the centre - and had been showing that for some time: "He's performing very consistently at the moment," concluded the head coach.
Three goals and an assist
Kompany's praise is also backed up by the stats. In his seven competitive appearances in February, the 23-year-old was directly involved in four goals for the men from Munich. In addition to an assist, he also scored Bayern's all-important opener in three different matches last month. This was also recognised by the supporters of the German record champions, who chose Olise as their FC Bayern Player of the Month.

Michael Olise cancelled out Stuttgart's opener to make it 1-1.
Olise received 38.4 per cent of the votes cast, beating Jamal Musiala (17%) and Leon Goretzka (11%) into second and third place respectively. After September, it was the second POTM award for the summer arrival, whose signing has turned out to be a real stroke of luck for the German record champions.
New arrival hit the ground running
In the away game at VfB Stuttgart (3-1) at the end of February, the Frenchman racked up his 15th goal contribution of the current Bundesliga season (eight goals, seven assists). Of all the league's new signings, only Borussia Mönchengladbach's Tim Kleindienst (19) and Wolfsburg's Mohammed Amoura (16) had bettered this tally at the time. More of the same please, Michael!
