STILLWATER — Jacie Hoyt has agreed to a contract extension as the Oklahoma State women’s basketball coach following one of the winningest seasons in program history.
The new deal includes a raise and extension, The Oklahoman has confirmed. The details of the contract have not yet become public while it awaits approval from the board of regents.
“Grateful for an administration who believes in me, and thankful for the players and coaching staff who bought into the vision and put in the work to make it all possible!” Hoyt posted on social media “Being a part of (Oklahoma State athletics) and this community is an honor!”
OSU went 25-7 in Hoyt’s third season and made its second NCAA Tournament appearance in her tenure. The 25 wins were the third-most in program history. The Cowgirls were a No. 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament, suffering a first-round loss to No. 10 South Dakota State.
Hoyt, who turned 38 on Wednesday, had been on a contract that paid her $650,000 per year through the 2028 season.
