TRAVEL WITH THE TIDE! How to buy tickets for Alabama basketball vs BYU in Sweet 16: Prices, start time
According to On3’s Joe Tipton, Alabama has already reached out to one of star forward Grant Nelson’s former teammates and another who had an unforgettable night against the No. 2 seed Crimson Tide in non-conference play.
As Alabama navigates its third straight Sweet 16 run, and fourth total under coach Nate Oats, here are a couple early names that the returning Final Four team might pluck for its incoming roster of transfers.
Jacari White, G, North Dakota State
The JUCO ruling that shook up NCAA eligibility has given White another year in college, and it looks like he might spend it in Tuscaloosa. Hailing from Orlando, the 6-foot-3 senior averaged over 17 points per game this season with a best 27 points against Butler in December.
Treysen Eaglestaff, G, North Dakota
Before the 6-foot-6 junior had a career-high 51 point game against South Dakota State in March, Eaglestaff rose to Alabama social media notoriety after he dropped 40 points nearly running the Crimson Tide out of ‘The Betty’ in a homecoming game for Nelson, who is from Devils Lake, ND.
Eaglestaff finished the year averaging 18.9 points per game.
