Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri has said that there has been "no substantial interest" in buying the club.
The Thai businessman is the subject of protests from Owls supporters after players and staff had their wage payment for last month delayed in what was the latest in a long list of off-field issues.
Wednesday have been placed under a registration embargo in each of the past two seasons amid financial problems and were deducted six points in 2020-21, a season where they were relegated from the Championship, for breaching spending rules.
Fan groups are calling on supporters at Saturday's Championship home match against Oxford United to turn their backs to play in the 10th minute to signify the 10 years Chansiri has owned the club.

In a lengthy letter on the club website he said he would sell to "the right individual, or group, to take our club forward".
Chansiri added: "We have all seen speculation and stories that a consortium or individual is ready to come in and take over. But I can guarantee there have been no offers at all.
"There has been some interest but nothing at all substantial that has been followed through.
"During this situation no one has come forward. To say I am in the way or I prevent this or prevent that, it is not true.
"This is the football business and I repeat if the right package is agreed, I will not be the one to stand in the way."
Chansiri has confirmed he will meet with the club's supporters engagement panel on Tuesday, where he will speak with an interpreter.
Ahead of Saturday's 42nd game of season against Oxford, Wednesday are 13th, 11 points clear of the relegation zone and nine shy of the play-off places.
