NHL Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Forward Pickups April 6 - Marchment. Marco, Morgan, McLeod and McGroarty Make Wise Choices on Sunday

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Mason Marchment, DAL @ MIN (34% rostered)
Marchment took a puck to the face in late-December that cost him a month of action and 17 games with facial fractures. That absence will likely cost Marchment a new career-high in points, as he is up to 20 goals - the second straight season he hit that mark - and 24 assists in 58 contests. The 29-year-old winger has three multi-point performances in the last four games as he is a fixture on the second line with Matt Duchene for the Stars.

Ridly Greig, C/RW, OTT vs. CLM (8% rostered)
Greig failed to dent the scoresheet Saturday, which has been a mild rarity recently. He has nine points in his last 14 contests. That production has enabled Greig to set a new career-high in points, as he now has 12 tallies and 18 assists in 73 contests on the season. Greig has dished out 134 hits while skating two minutes more a game than he did last season in his first full campaign in the league.

Marco Kasper, C/LW, DET vs. FLA (10% rostered)
Kasper is closing his rookie season strong for the Winged Wheel. His tally Friday was Kasper's sixth goal in his last 11 games, a span in which he's added two assists, 21 shots, 27 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating. Kasper has thrived since being moved back from wing to center with Andrew Copp (pectoral) sidelined. He is at 16 goals, 31 points, 122 shots, 143 hits, 46 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating through 70 outings overall after being selected eighth overall in 2022.

Morgan Geekie, C/LW/RW,  BOS @ BUF (21% rostered)
Geekie extended his point streak to five with a goal and three assists Saturday. He has four goals and seven assists in that stretch and not surprisingly, thriving skating next to David Pastrnak. Geekie is up to 28 goals and 21 helpers in 72 contests with the goals and points new career-highs with the helpers just one shy of tying his prior mark. If you were or smart enough to add Geekie in your leagues, continue to enjoy the ride.

Ryan McLeod. BUF vs. BOS (10% rostered)
McLeod has exploded this year in Buffalo, making Edmonton look foolish for dealing him, even though cap constraints resulted in that trade. He up to three goals and seven assists over his last six contests, giving the 25-year-old 19 markers and 29 helpers in 71 contests. That output is a new career-high for McLeod who is set up for a major payday as he is in the final season of the two-year, $4.2 million contract he signed with the Oilers in August of 2023.

Rutger McGroarty, RW, PIT @ CHI (1% rostered)
McGroarty saw three games with Pittsburgh to start the season but went down after going scoreless. He struggled initially in the AHL, managing just one helper in his first eight AHL contests. McGroarty found his scoring pace, finishing with 14 goals and 25 assists in 60 minor-league contests prior to his March 28 call up. McGroarty tallied his first NHL goal and assist Thursday, following that up with another helper Saturday as he skates on ...
