Nets vs. Celtics betting preview: Prediction, point spread, odds
The Brooklyn Nets (22-44) had a opportunity to make up ground in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament race against the Chicago Bulls before losing to them in another disappointing way. Brooklyn still has an outside shot of getting close to the 10th seed in the East, but they will have a tough test against the Boston Celtics (48-19) on Saturday and if you're wondering how you can watch all the action live, you've come to the right place!
The Nets come into this game following a 116-110 loss at the Bulls on Thursday in which they came into the game trailing Chicago by five games with the chance to close the gap to four games with a win. Despite Cam Thomas having one of his best games this season to the tune of 24 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists, Brooklyn had yet another game where they couldn't finish strong to come away with the win.
The Celtics enter this matchup after a 103-91 win at the Miami Heat on Friday in which Boston pulled away from Miami in the fourth quarter despite not having the services of Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis with their respective situations. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics in scoring with 28 points, but it was a struggle for him to get his points as he shot 8-for-21 from the field.

Advice and Prediction
The Nets have not been playing their best basketball coming out of the All-Star Break as they have won just one of their last 10 games, including winnable games against teams like the Bulls. Brooklyn is probably the healthiest that it's been this season, but their schedule to end the season is one of the tougher ones in the league so it seems that they're having trouble with the strength of schedule.
The Celtics are dealing with some injuries, but they are one of the best teams in the NBA for a reason and that is because of players like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Boston has one of the best records in the league over the course of this season and in their last 10 games as they seem to be one of the teams destined to meet the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Nets rank as one of the worst teams in the league in offensive rating while the Celtics rank as one of the best. While Brooklyn has improved on the defensive end of the floor since the beginning of the season, they are still in the bottom half of the league in defensive rating while Boston is one of the best teams in the metric. What makes this matchup unique is that both the Nets and the Celtics play at one of the slowest paces in the Association, making for a low-scoring matchup.
Prediction: Celtics 105, Nets 100
