Nebraska sees season end following loss to Louisville in opening round of NCAA Tournament
The No. 10 seed Nebraska Cornhuskers (21-12) opened up the NCAA Tournament on Friday night against No. 7 seed Louisville (22-10). Both sides traded blows in a fierce defensive battle, making it anyone's game heading into the final minutes. In the end, the Cardinals finished on top 63-58.
The Huskers led by four with four minutes left in the game, but Louisville took a one-point lead in the final minute. Nebraska held an opportunity to retake the lead, but a charging foul on the Huskers put the game away for the Cardinals.
