Moorefield falls to Washington, 4-0
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. — Washington plated four runs in the sixth inning to hand Moorefield a 4-0 loss on Wednesday.
Saint Francis commit Zoe Kesterson tossed a two-hit shutout for Washington, fanning 14 and walking none over seven innings pitched.
Chloe and Carly Constantino and Ella Ranck had two hits each to lead the Patriots' offense.
Moorefield's Aryana Hinz allowed four runs on 11 hits in six frames, striking out two and walking one.
Moorefield hosts Frankfort on Thursday and has a doubleheader at Spring Mills on Saturday at 10 a.m.
