The MLS Board of Governors voted on Thursday to delay a potential change to a fall-spring calendar for the league.
Per breaking news from Sports Business Journal's Alex Silverman, the league is set to not adopt the proposed fall-to-spring scheduling format in the wake of the 2026 World Cup.

Though the calendar swap is still said to be on the negotiating table, it would not be until 2027 at the earliest that the considerable landscape change could take hold.
