Mazzara: Milan forced to make Tare decision – why Sartori is no longer an option

Giovanni Sartori was seemingly an emerging candidate for the AC Milan job, but the sporting director seemingly will not arrive, as reports this morning suggest.

The talk of the town this morning is the fact that Giorgio Furlani will interview Igli Tare in the next few days, and potentially confirm him as the right man to lead the new project. However, it seems that this may be a forced decision.

Pietro Mazzara writes this morning that Tare is the one being called by Milan, as other reports this morning confirm. However, it is not a decision which is being made in the Rossoneri’s hands as it seems.

Fabio Paratici’s ban affected his chances, whilst Tony D’Amico will not leave Atalanta, and now, Mazzara writes that this is the same reason why Sartori will probably not arrive, with him not wanting to leave his post with Bologna.

There, of course, could be some change to this, but with him not wanting to leave his current role, then it suggests that you may be better suited going to a candidate who is wanting to take the job, and even actively bettering his chances of getting it.

Another twist in the tale, but now it seems like it could be the last, with only one man left standing.
