Lonnie Walker IV reveals message he feels like he's sending to the NBA

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers are nearing the finish line of what has been a miserable season. Expected to contend for a championship, the Sixers are sitting at 23-55 as they have dealt with a ton of injuries and things out of their control.

Therefore, the Sixers have had to rely on unproven players. However, on the flip side, it gives those players the opportunity to showcase their skills to earn future NBA opportunities.

Lonnie Walker IV, for example, began the 2024-25 season overseas. Now, he is back in the NBA and he feels like he is showing off his skills enough to earn a job in the league for the future.

"Just overall game," Walker said of what he is looking to show. "Rebounding, playmaking ability. Obviously, I can find ways to score and be more consistent at that end of the floor so doing a lot of things that, just showcasing, you know, different aspects of the game that I can bring."

Walker had 18 points on 6-for-12 shooting with five assists and three rebounds in Saturday's loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Ever since returning from the concussion, he has taken steps forward and is continuing to grow as a player. The Reading, PA native will look to make one final impression in these final four games of the season.
