Kraken Face Kings In Key Matchup Monday Night

Los Angeles, CA - The Seattle Kraken will take on the Los Angeles Kings Monday night for the third of four meetings this season. Seattle has won both previous matchups, 4-2 at home on January 18 and 2-1 on the road on November 23, 2024. The Kraken will host L.A. for their final home game on April 15. Historically, Seattle is 6-6-1 all-time against the Kings, with a 4-3-0 road record.

The Kings have won 8 of their last 10 games, securing a playoff spot. Seattle, meanwhile, is 4-4-2 in their last 10, most recently defeating the San Jose Sharks 5-1 on Saturday.

Several Kraken skaters are set to hit milestones: Adam Larsson is one goal away from tying his career-high of eight goals. Brandon Montour needs one more goal to set a new career-high of 16.

The Kraken welcomed back Eeli Tolvanen and Jaden Schwartz on Saturday. Schwartz leads active Kraken skaters with 22 points against the Kings.

In the net Joey Daccord is 2-1-1 with a 1.74 GAA and .947 SV% in four career games against L.A. While Philipp Grubauer holds a 7-5-0 record with a 1.98 GAA and three shutouts in 13 career appearances against the Kings.

  • Jared McCann leads Kraken skaters with 58 points, including two goals and an assist in Saturday's win.
  • For L.A., Andrei Kuzmenko is on a hot streak with seven points in his last four games, while Adrian Kempe leads L.A. with 64 points.
