Kevin De Bruyne is the focal point of today’s matchday programme for our game against Crystal Palace.
KDB announced ahead of the Manchester United derby that he would be leaving City at the end of the 2024/25 season.
It will bring to an end an iconic 10-year stay with the Blues in a never-to-be-forgotten era of excellence culminating in 19 major trophies for the Belgian.
This is the first edition of the matchday programme since the news dropped and KDB’s place in all our hearts is marked on the cover.

It shows a fan wearing a ‘De Bruyne 17’ shirt about to enter the stadium to herald his hero, a sentiment no doubt prevalent for every Blue who attends the match this afternoon.
There’ll be a more fulsome tribute to the legendary midfielder in our final home game of the season against Bournemouth by the way – so stay tuned for more about that as we get closer to the Etihad finale.
Elsewhere within the pages, we have an interview with Matheus Nunes who talks about his move to right-back, offers his Old Trafford reflections as well as adding his voice to the many hailing departing De Bruyne.
We also hear from Palace legend – and City fan incidentally – Geoff Thomas who provides us with a Nightmare XI with a difference.
Usually, it’s made up of players who have been the scourge of the ex-pro selecting but in GT’s case, it’s City aces he’s admired past and present.
