Kansas City Chiefs sign CB Robert Rochell to a one-year deal
The Kansas City Chiefs roster continues to fill out as general manager Brett Veach focuses on different roles this offseason.
According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Chiefs are signing former Green Bay Packers cornerback Robert Rochell to a one-year deal. Rochell becomes the latest defensive back addition to the Chiefs' defense through free agency this offseason. Kansas City continues to build depth in the secondary after the opening week signing of Kristian Fulton.
Free-agent CB Robert Rochell, who spent last season with the Packers, reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Chiefs, per @UniSportsMgmt CEO Kevin Conner.

Last season for the Packers, Rochell played in 11 games, with most of his action on special teams. A noted standout in that role, he can be a player that coordinator Dave Toub counts on often for his unit. In 2024, He finished with two tackles and a fumble recovery.
The 26-year-old was a fourth-round pick of the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, where he spent his first two years in the NFL. He has 25 tackles, one interception and three fumble recoveries in 48 games. He started five games throughout his four-year professional career.
