Kane delighted with Kimmich's contract extension

In the wake of Joshua Kimmich’s confirmed contract extension with Bayern Munich, his teammate Harry Kane expressed his delight at the German’s decision to stay.

“It’s fantastic news. Johsua is an outstanding footballer and a great leader to have in the dressing room and on the pitch.

“He is so important to everyone else, he gives his heart and soul in every moment, every training, every match.

“Another really good extension. I’m really happy for Joshua, he deserves it. I’m looking forward to more moments with him on the pitch.

“We’re both eager to push the team as far as we can, and we’re looking forward to that challenge,” Kane explained.
